Glidewell
Glidewell is the workstation little-brother of Intel's Bensley server platform. Glidewell centers on the Xeon Dempsey (and later Woodcrest), just like Bensley, and Intel's Greencreek chipset. Greencreek is almost identical to the full-version Blackford chipset. However, it lacks the gigabit ethernet controller of Blackford, and adds support for a PCI-Express x16 slot. That latter point means it can support a much broader range of video cards, which becomes particularly important for CAD types of applications.
Requires: Xeon Dempsey or Xeon Woodcrest processor, Intel 5000X (Greencreek) chipset.
