Welcome to 10blog
Recently, 10stripe's front page has been home to a variety of "meta" content. That is, content about 10stripe itself. This has gradually started to cause more and more problems, inspiring us to launch this little blog.
We have launched 10blog in an effort to give that type of content a place to live.
10blog has several goals:
- To give meta content more "breathing room" by freeing it from some length constraints
- To give the site a better "memory" of its own history
- To increase overall transparency by giving people a better idea of what we are working on
Our intention is for 10blog to act as a notice system for major back-end announcements, such as the recent server outage, and also as a way to preview upcoming content.
In recent months, a number of large long-term projects have been quietly brewing. Unfortunately, much of this is completely invisible for the site's visitors, which creates a general impression that nothing is happening (and in fact there have been some periods in which nothing was happening, due to other concerns). We are hoping to remedy that by talking more about our future plans.
